        SAN DIEGO, Dec. 7, 2010 – The board of directors of Sempra Energy (NYSE:SRE) today declared a quarterly dividend of 39 cents per share of common stock.  The current dividend is payable Jan. 15, 2011, to shareholders of record on Dec. 23, 2010.
