SAN DIEGO, Sept. 9, 2008 – The board of directors of Sempra Energy (NYSE:SRE) today declared a quarterly dividend of 35 cents per share of common stock.  The current dividend is payable Oct. 15 to shareholders of record on Sept. 25, 2008.
