SDG&E Launches Trade Professional Directory For Business Customers

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 30, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- To expand on efforts to help business customers identify ways to save energy and money, San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) recently launched a new Trade Professional Directory. The online directory is a tool to help business customers find vendors who can help them identify and implement energy efficiency projects.

The Trade Professional Directory is available at sdge.com/find-trade-pro. The trade professionals listed have energy efficiency expertise and can help business customers increase their savings through SDG&E's business rebate, incentive and financing programs. Those included in the directory have met SDG&E's eligibility criteria, including completion of a minimum of five projects involving SDG&E energy efficiency programs within the last 12 months or completion of projects with an aggregated savings of more than 250,000 kilowatt-hours (kWh) of electricity or 25,000 therms of natural gas, and must have no unresolved customer complaints.

"The SDG&E Trade Professional Directory makes it easier for customers to find qualified vendors to help with their energy projects," said Caroline Winn, SDG&E's vice president of customer services. "This is a great tool to help streamline the process for our business customers to start saving more energy and money every day. Working with a trade professional can help business customers identify ways to save energy and learn about energy efficiency, demand response, and financing opportunities."

In the Trade Professional Directory, customers can simply click to select their industry, service area, services offered and specific technologies, and a list of available trade professionals is provided.

Trade Professionals who sell, service or install energy-efficient equipment for business customers should consider becoming a member of SDG&E's Trade Professional Alliance. Visit webpage sdge.com/tradepro to learn more.
