Sempra Energy Foundation, Employees Pledge Assistance For Philippines Typhoon Victims
SAN DIEGO, Nov. 14, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- The Sempra Energy Foundation and Sempra Energy employees will provide more than $25,000 in disaster-relief assistance funds to assist Philippines victims of Typhoon Haiyan. The donations will go to the American Red Cross-National Headquarters in support of typhoon relief efforts. In addition to the $25,000 contribution, the Sempra Energy Foundation has pledged to match employee contributions, dollar-for-dollar, up to $50,000. Combined, the Sempra Energy Foundation, employee contributions and foundation matching funds could total more than $125,000.
