SoCalGas Business Customers Can Learn About Energy-Efficiency Rebates And Incentives During Annual Business Expo
LOS ANGELES, April 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Southern California Gas Co. (SoCalGas) will provide information to business customers about the more than $10 million available in energy-efficiency incentives during its annual Business Expo. The Expo will be held 7 a.m.-2 p.m., Wednesday, May 8 at the Sheraton Fairplex Hotel and Conference Center, 601 W. McKinley Ave., Pomona, Calif. "The Business Expo allows businesses to learn how to use energy more efficiently and discover incentives that can help them take advantage of these energy saving opportunities," said Rodger Schwecke, SoCalGas vice president of Customer Solutions. The day includes an economic forecast from Dr. Sung Won Sohn, CSU Channel Islands endowed professor of economics and former senior economic advisor to the White House. Breakout panels will provide information about customer best practices in energy efficiency, tips for getting energy-efficiency projects approved and an update about AB 32. Exhibitors will be on hand to demonstrate new technologies during the Expo. Several SoCalGas business customers will be recognized with Energy-Efficiency Excellence Awards based on the amount of therms of natural gas the businesses saved.
