        SAN DIEGO, June 1, 2007 – Mark Snell, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Sempra Energy (NYSE:  SRE), will participate in the Second Annual Citi Power, Gas and Utilities Conference June 7, 2007, in Charleston, S.C.

        Snell will be part of two panels during the first day of the conference, June 7:  “Natural Gas Pipelines & Storage:  Managing Record Growth in an Inflationary Environment; Can Returns Remain Steady?” at 3 p.m. EDT and “Supply & Demand for Gas:  LNG, New Shale & New Pipelines Are on Their Way – But Will It Be Enough?” at 3:45 p.m. EDT.   Snell will discuss Sempra Energy’s investments in natural gas infrastructure, including two of the newest liquefied natural gas terminals under development in North America.
